Ethernet and Wifi Simultaneously on U22?

Is it possible to employ wifi AND ethernet simultaneously on my U22? So far, I have not been able to do it.

Why do you want to be able to do this?

I am not sure it matters beyond I want to do so. But I would like to be able to connect wifi to one SSID/IP set associated with a home automation product while ethernet connects to my main one.

I can activate wifi on the U22. I can see it switched on in the settings. But when I try to connect to an SSID, it just gives up after a few moments. I know that Android has built-in mechanisms to prioritize (read not use) cell data when connected to wifi. This makes sense to me in most cases - although it can be overridden on many devices in the developer settings. It is clear that linux can support multiple, active networking interfaces. So I was hoping/thinking that Android might as well. So far, no joy.

Unfortunately not, this is an Android limitation, if ethernet is plugged in it will override the WiFi.
