HI ArcticWolf , thanks for your reply.
Fiurmware is 9,3,15

Currently i still haven't used anything to playback the media as i did not know how to ( what player do you suggest to use or is there a default tinstalled app ? ).
I was trying to browse the content from the "Notify" option i have found close to the wrench icon on the top right corner of the home page and i am able to retrive the device but when i search for the content it's empty .
You're welcome
.
OK, the device should automatically detect that an update is available, but there are circumstances when this may not happen or sometimes it can take the system an unusually long time to check for an update & prompt the end user to apply it (if applicable). However, you can manually check for an OTA update via the T5's settings menu. Please update to the latest 9.3.16 firmware first & foremost. (If a manual check still doesn't trigger the update process, just leave the system fully powered on for a prolonged period & wait, eventually the update prompt will usually appear on-screen.)
Otherwise, in all likelihood the process you're currently using "could" be why you're unable to view or access the contents of your drive. A decent file explorer app would be a good idea to start with to help you manage the device, & there are several to choose from in the Play Store. (Although, from previous discussions & user reports, X-plore seems to be a popular & reliable choice for the T5 but certainly try another option if an app is available that you're already familiar with.)
You'll also need to install a decent media player app as well, again the Play Store is your best option to keep things as simple as possible. Kodi is certainly one of the most popular choices & it too works well on the T5. Plex is another option if you're already familiar with that as well. However, if you'd prefer a considerably lighter & less involved app, MX Player or VLC are highly popular media players that also work well too.
Once installed, these apps should ask for the required permissions when you first run them, so go ahead & allow them that access when prompted. After that, all being well you should be able to directly access your media with relative ease from either the file explorer or media player apps. However, let us know if you continue to experience any access problems after sorting out the above
