My Neo-X8 H Plus was last updated Thur Jan 2017, but ever since I purchased it it's been very buggy, slow and I keep getting Error message:- Exchange services has stopped. I am fed-up with companies who loose interest in supporting their equipment while bring out new systems just to con more money out of us. Why should we have confidence any new equipment will be supported any better than existing ones, I certainly don't.

I have two Samsung tablets, one stuck on KitKat and the other on Lollipop... official upgrades are not available!

Unfortunately firmware upgrades come to an end;)

If you do indeed have a X8-H Plus, why not upgrade to one of the Lollipop versions ?

I'm fed up of people like you coming on this forum and whinging about ancient units not getting updates.

I have the original iPad Mini stuck on iOS 9 that will not even allow me to install apps any more, you will not catch me going onto the Apple forum and whinging like you about it, it is what it is, no amount of threats will make it otherwise.

At least my two X8-H Plus units still serve me well, Lollipop came to this unit as a courtesy from Minix, they did not receive the support from AMlogic to do so but they did it anyway, that for me is service, yet still not good enough for some!!

To any future whinging folk, understand this, you need to vent your anger at AMlogic, Minix can do nothing about updates if AMlogic do not provide the SDK's to do so, end of.

However, after all is said and done, if you can point me to any manufacturer that has a written guarantee of life time OS updates then I shall swallow my words, just for you.....
