Films with multiple files

most of the films iv watched over the years have only been in 1 file, i have a few films on my hd that are split into a few .m2ts files, iv never worked out if theres a way of watching these films without having to start each file after the first file ends?

theres this option in Kodi settings >> Ive never tried/used it but it may be what your looking for

im having another issue with multiple files again, i have the combine split files option ticked that has been working for the last year, now the film will keep playing but what happens is when it changes from one file to the next the screen turns black and theres upto a 10 second delay before the next file starts, iv tried it with movie players, kodi and corelec but all are the same, i decided to do a factory reset today but the problem is still there.

wish i had went for the shield pro instead of this, its been annoying since day one :(
