You need to flash the X8-H Plus version or you will probably have WiFi and BT issues!
 
Yeah the thing is, I get to ask permission to download the file with whatever of my Google accounts.
When I ask permission I don`t get an answer. Do you?

I use a Gmail account that does have access!

I think it is related to whether a gmail account is age restricted or not.

Not sure though why the X8-H link does not require access permission whereas the X8-H Plus link does?!
 
I only get the access request in Windows. Using Android it can be freely downloaded!
 
Also on android, using either Chrome or Firefox as browser, no go. Same access request wall.
Windows machine, 3 browsers, using different google accounts. NO GO! :-(
Can you please do me one solid and put the file to another location somewhere in the cloud?

Burned the SD card, popped it in, needle pinned the little black magic box and boom!
WIthin minutes I had a new rom. I noticed a comment to reboot after install without starting any apps, so did that too (for anybody reading this, it seems to be essential)

Funny thing, after installing some apps and trying Netflix, the screen went black after not touching the mouse for short moment.
Reboot. Again. Reboot, still same problem. Ok I`m screwed. Now I`m done and will buy something new.
Or, wait... perhaps there is something wrong in the display settings. Turns out, the sleep at idle was set to 15 seconds by default :-D

So far the rom is like waay faster as the stock lollipop. Netflix (4.16) runs smooth, and so does youtube and all.
Just one streaming app (NPO for any of the Dutch reading along) isn`t working but I can live with that or try to find a workaround in Kodi.

Again, thank you! Hopefully I can enjoy my sweet Minix for another couple of years.

Hi, can anyone upload the ROM elsewhere. I have exactly the same problem with a file access request. It doesn't matter from computer or from phone. I've even tried different google accounts. Thanks in advance.

I've tried 3 different google accounts, I have to request access from all of them. Maybe it depends on the region. The link from the pusb87 no longer works either.

I have tried different accounts and one of them works for me. :)

I have searched for an answer to this but found nothing definitive!
I've searched for a bypass but nothing worked. :confused:
I don't think it is a region thing. :unsure:
