MINIX - Martin

Please note, you can only use this method to upgrade the firmware, there's no way to downgrade the version.

1. Download the firmware files to a USB stick, and insert this USB stick into the NEO U1.
(Do not extract this compressed file, just put it the in the root directory of the USB stick).

2. Connect the box to a screen, and attach the power adapter/supply.

3. Hold/Press the power button for over 6 seconds, then you shall be able to see the screen is exactly the same as 01.jpg.

4. Go to "Apply update from EXT" > "Update from udisk", then you shall see the firmware file is just there.

5. Choose this file and installation will starts.
Wait until it finished, and re-plug in the power adapter and starts the device.

The attached pictures - from 01.jpg to 06.jpg - show the above procedure.

No need to input anything.
Just wait for a couple of minutes to see how it goes.
If you run into any issues, take a screenshot here.
I would recommend using a PC to flash the firmware, because the method using a USB stick can only upgrade, while using a Windows PC is able to flash any version of firmware you want.

Hi there. I've just tried to upgrade the firmware via USB stick but when I reach step 05.jpg the installation is aborted. Please help.. 9938F841-C2F4-4EA8-8495-2E954CBBE831.jpeg

The device is powered off before you do this?
