[Fixed] Icons on the lower control panel are unevenly distributed

Nope, Nova icon placement is all normal & identical to my U9-H thankfully.
Have you tried dragging an app icon from all apps?
It doesn't work for me or @Mark112887 !

Workaround...
https://theminixforum.com/index.php?threads/neo-u22-xj-002fw-bugtracker.2617/post-19719

I was even able to use my Nova backup file from the U9-H, paste it over to the U22 & load it straight up to save all the reconfiguration of how I have all the settings etc. :).
Yeah that's what I did!

And Nova Launcher import settings has the feature back that appeared to break a while ago where it displays a greyed out icon if the app is not installed yet. (y)

Actually just re-read @Mark112887's post and he is referring to Widgets!

Yep, widgets can't be dragged either.

This thread is now hijacked for Nova Launcher issues! :ROFLMAO:

Lol. Yes, agreed I'm having the same issues trying to test widgets but I'm currently not using any myself.

Icons are still fine. Greyed out icons have immediately reactivated as soon as I install the relevant apps too but I recall having that issue with greyed out icons breaking on the U9-H in the past with the CE ROM too, for example :). Seemed to be a Nova issue rather than the device/firmware.

Either way, think I'll stop Nova from auto updating for the time being rather than things devolving again. Will wait for news of a fix ;)!

Hopefully you can close out your bug report after a fresh install of everything you need but keep us updated :).
I found the reason for the distortion of the lower toolbar. Completely random. After factory reset, I performed fine-tuning of the device for myself (Launcher 3 from the firmware, no third-party launcher has yet been installed). The bug was detected in the zoom (size) settings of the display image. See the screenshot. As long as the display remained "default", everything is fine with the lower toolbar. But as soon as you move the engine to the "Large" side, the volume control buttons moved to the center and it became almost impossible to control them because of the overlapping of neighboring buttons. This is a serious bug, the lower toolbar should not be distorted by any scaling. Developers of new firmware versions for U22 have something to work on.Screenshot - Display size bug U22.jpg

Well spotted that man :).

That specific issue you could please post up in the bug reports thread with your screenies :).

Again, nice find ;).

It seemed to me that on my TV with a 40-inch panel, everything was somehow very small. So I moved the image scale to "Large". And if this time the lower bar was hidden, I would not have noticed at what stage this bug appeared. When you move the engine to the "Default" position, everything returns to its place.

I installed ADW to test and I also didn't see the strange bar effect, yet I noticed that, although it was working well, it didn't show up in the list of the selectable launchers, as Nova or Metro or L3 do
ADW Launcher 2 really has a lot of settings. You can use them to achieve almost any external display of your device's screen. I liked it the most among other launchers for its extensive and thoughtful functionality

I wouldn't call it a serious bug!
Who uses this setting?
I don't see a use for it!
Sorry, but I don't agree with Your position if you think that this is normal and the firmware developers don't need to do anything. Despite the fact that the parameter exists, changing its settings is available to any user, but this change leads to these errors...?

What @Villa is saying is that it is not a serious bug and never said it should not be addressed by the developers.

Admittedly I used the text enlargement but I didn't notice this happening to the virtual bar as I don't really use it having A2/A3 remotes ;).

I only went up one level from default.

A bug is a bug. I can see it being an issue for people using the basic remotes who may rely heavily on the virtual bar but it's not exactly serious & it's probably going to be low on the list of priorities for fixes right now.

Please be patient @I_Bit but thanks for reporting your find.

YYes, when you increase or decrease the text, it really does not affect the stability of the lower toolbar. The bug appears when you zoom in on the display image. At the same time, in Launcher 3, the toolbar is shifted to the right side of the screen and nothing can bring it back, since there are absolutely no settings in this launcher. Until you return the display scale to the "Default" position

If you are interested, here is my report in pictures after the bug was discovered, after factory reset, complete reinstalling and configuring my apps that I used to use. All's fine so far, and new bugs have not noticed.

I agree it isn't a serious issue, but really shouldn't behave as such. But thanks to this posting I was able to fix not only the poorly spaced toolbar logos but also the taskbar shifting to the right hand border. It is all due to the enlarged display size....any larger than default. Thanks all.
