Following Reboot U9-h Drops Ethernet Connection

Intermittent Problem
After i pull ethernet cable and usb cable from minix box -ethernet resets itself
Do I need to do a factory reset (was waiting for Kodi 18 before resetting box)

You'll need to reconfigure things afterwards if you perform a Factory Reset !
 
You just need to press and hold the power button for a little more than 6 seconds.
A recovery menu should appear and you can select factory reset.
 
Thanks I did the software reset
but thought there was a small physical reset button -- like on a router

it's a shame that all the previous forum knowledge and help threads were lost

There is a tiny hole on the underside of the device but it is not required to perform a Factory reset.
Some older devices required this button to be pressed prior to pressing and holding of the power button.
