Getting a USB microphone to work on the U22-XJ?

I have several wired good quality USB microphones, I used a Blue Snowball on my U9-H and it was just plug and play and worked well on the apps I required it to. I wish to do the same with a U22-XJ, but it seems its not as simple as just plugging it in to have it working, so my question: is it possible to use a USB stand alone microphone on this box, if so what are the constraints if any and are there any recommendations. I do not want to use the facility of an Air Mouse, just an ordinary condenser microphone like the Snowball range would suit me just fine.

Sorry, I don't have a mic to test.

Some thoughts for your current mic:
Which app are you using?
Does the app have the permission to use the microphone?
Does the app support USB audio?
Have you tried a different USB port?

Sorry, that's about all I could think of. I don't have my own to test, so I'm kind of limited with my answer.

I don't have a mic either but I did connect a webcam with built in mic and that works just fine!

I installed an audio recorder app and that recorded audio via the A3 mic. When I plugged in the webcam the built in mic worked just fine.
I even removed a battery from the A3 just to make sure!

Thanks ..MooseJaw and Villa .. I only need to use the search services of Google, and a messaging app, on the U9-H it was just plug and play with my microphone .. however I might try a Bluetooth device connection .. just need to find a simple microphone that fits the bill. Thanks for your thoughts on the issue ... I could always revert to using my U9-H .. but I do enjoy the speed of the U22-XJ.
