Having Issues with Batocera

Hi, hopefully i am on the right category, if not please move to de corect one :)

Hi, last year i've got a minix Neo U1 Android box and i would like to use it again, my idea was to install emulec or batocera on it, i search info and help over internet but i didnt find nothing...could someone give me a hand? thanks :)

did you select the correct firmware? because every amlogic has its own firmware I had tried with u-9h for amlogic 912 and it worked, then I installed coorelec and batocera in the Raspberry p3 +.
 
Hi, Thank's for your time :) Yes i select the correct firmware for my processor Amlogic S905...but then i put the usb stick on my U1, Unplugged, i press the recover1 button on the bottom and then i plug it in and nothing happens,still booting as always, any infos on the internet, any info? :(
 
no you don't have to remove Android ... if you insert sd with Batocera, Batocera starts automatically if you remove it, the Android system installed in the mmc memory returns.

Oh my bad haha sorry, my english isn't very good at all, okey cool to know that, i will search my sd adapter and try after that, just one question more before try that...can i sintall permanently batocera on de U1?

I haven't tried installing Batocera in the internal memory but I think it can be done, but I suggest you go to the dedicated Batocera site for amlogic systems and get informed or do a google search .... let me know.
 
Have you done this? "Next we will need to edit the DTB file on the newly burned SD card. The DTB files are already present in the boot folder, just rename the appropriate one to DTB.IMG. Below is a guide to help you identify the required DTB file for your Amlogic box."
 
I did try it but there are a few files, could u send me the guide or the site where u find that? thanks

'cause now that i think about i didnt find any info of wich file makes what
