HBO GO app not working on NEO X8-H Plus

Hi there,

I'm looking for some help here, I'm having issues to run HBO Go app into my NEO X8-H Plus box running Lollipop official firmware (I've also tried with Finless ROM as well).

The application starts and loads content, however whenever I try to start playing anything I get the following error:

I've opened a support ticket with HBO, they replied the application doesn't support this device yet. I'm wondering if someone has experienced the same issue and if there is anything to try as I don't think I'll get a nice response from HBO.

Yes I have the same problem. It is the same with hulu and sometimes with Netflix. I have not found a solution. I have cleared cache, restarted, etc. It will not load the show, but it will load the parental warning.
 
I´ve managed to get the HBO App for my country (Portugal) working. It used to give me internet connection errors.
I´m using the Finless Rom and I did the following:

- Removed the Root (with the SuperSU included app)
- Enabled the "Fake Wifi" option in the ethernet options

And it now Works!!

Please where did you enabled the fake Wi-Fi
I tried to removed the root with supersu but got the message "not is the root complete installation, but whit other app I have removed the root
 
Hello,

I´m currently connected with a rj45 cable (ethernet).
In the Minix launcher I double clicked in the ethernet icon. A menu appeared, I clicked in ethernet and then fake wifi.

If you need further help, please let me know.
