HDMI Standard or Enhanced.

I have a 65 "Sony Android Tv linked to my U9h. Currently I use an IPTV for Uk channels.
My hdmi is set on my tv to standard. Although I very rarely use 4k, is it worthwhile changing my hdmi setup from standard to Enhanced?
Would I see an enhanced improvement on my Iptv, which have programmes shown in Sd and Hd quality.

Any thoughts on pros and cons would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

The best way is to just try and see. Although I think this mode is made for HDR sources, if I'm not mistaken.

HDR will only be used if you have 4K HDR source, but you can set the HDMI input to Enhanced as it will work like an Auto Setting, SDR source will display as usual and if you send a HDR tagged source then the TV will auto switch to the HDR mode and settings

p.s. Sony kd65X9000F (Aus Model) aka K90F (US Model) with the HDMI inputs set to Enhanced, all inputs Enhanced and works great when a HDR source is played. SDR/HDR Settings as per FlatpanelsHD.
