How can I turn on and off the Minix computer using a remote control?

My Minix computer is running an android operating system from android x86 and I wanted to make it so it turns on with a remote control instead of having to press the button. I found this SilverStone Technology Computer Power Switch (https://amzn.to/3hlozUV) which supposedly connects to the computers motherboard and makes it so you can use a remote control to turn on and off the computer. I am not very PC savvy and from the youtube tutorials I've seen this in, people usually use it for their own custom computers that have the motherboard/other stuff exposed (like this minix computer is enclosed by the black casing ).

Could I still use this SilverStone Wireless Remote and connect it to the Minix Computer? In other words, if I removed the screws from the casing of the computer and opened it up fully, would there be a way to easily connect this to the motherboard and have it work? If not, does anyone have any other suggestions or solutions?

Now for your question if this work with minix
1 -if you open thé minix for transforming inside you will loose guaranti
2- nobody Can help you have some problèm with it ,because you need to put it between thé câbles...
3- you need to have thé place in thé minix for put this mini board inside /this will make a Bad effect for colling thé minix ,as is see thé minix is fanless ,does this mini board support high température without having problèmes ?
Thé operating température from this remote board is 0 to maximum 40*C !
So this make your minix more hot inside and Can build systèm crash
4 -in theory this must work because its a simple connections between thé power and reset button ....
If you do it you do it on your own risque

You can wake your computer (even if the computer is in shutdown mode) with a smartphone/app or with a browser (wake on lan).
Must be connected with RJ45 and wake on lan via wifi does not work.

Go to minix BIOS and enable WOL.

See attached picture.

Note:
To shutdown your device you can install one app for smartphone (remote desktop) and from there you can shutodown your device or other similar app.

Thanks for this response. I don't really want to take this risk so I'll look into other options

I'm running an android OS and from the WO vid's ive seen on youtube, you still need to change stuff some place in windows 10 as well. also, the app would be inconvenient for my purposes. Thanks for your response tho! I'll look into other solutions
