How to connect multiple displays in extented mode?

Dear Forum,
i have to use the Minix Z83-4 PRO with two monitors.
Because of HDMI does not support multiple monitors, i used this adapter:

When i connect this adapter, i can only duplicate the screen, but can't extend the screens within two monitors.
How to solve?

Just tried to upgrade the Intel display driver to the newer version, but still doesn't work.
