I have the same issue. I have a Sony Xh90 and Samsung Q800t soundbar. Personally I think its something to do with an incorrect HDMI handshake from the U9-h running android. Atmos works but TrueHD and DTSX do not.
When I use CoreElec everything works just fine. After many hours of fault finding I have given up trying to fix this issue. As CoreElec is not convenient for my setup, I will probably have to look for new hardware.
