How to Setup Dolby Atmos on a Minix neo u9-h

In Kodi's settings look in the bottom left hand corner. You'll see a small cog icon where you can scroll through the different user settings ;).

TrueHD, Atmos, DTS:X & DTS-HD won't work over SPDIF/optical, (insufficient bandwidth)!! SPDIF only supports the 5.1 DTS or AC3/e-AC3 lossy
SD cores.

You only need the HDMI connection to your AVR, optical isn't required.

If you've already configured your U9-H & Kodi as per my guide in post #2 of this thread, ensure your AVR is correctly configured as well!!

So from the minix player the hdmi cable goes to the avr in arc hdmi or any hdmi in the avr?

How do I set up my system where does the hdmi go to the tv or the avr

Connect the U9-H to any HDMI input on the AVR that supports 4K, & the HD audio codecs & Atmos/DTS:X. (You may need to check to see if all of the HDMI inputs on the AVR are equal or if select HDMI inputs support select features.)

Then connect the HDMI 1 output from the AVR to the HDMI ARC input on your TV, (usually ARC is HDMI 2).

Double check the U9-H is correctly configured for HDMI audio if previously configured for SPDIF (post #2 under this thread). Also, double check Kodi's settings again.

Your AVR should then correctly receive Atmos/HD/etc. passthrough.

Let us know if you're sorted now :).

How are you downloading the torrent?

It says (cannot write to directory) what does this mean

Obviously we're discussing torrents that are legal to download aren't we ;)!!??!!!?

Could be several reasons. Is there an error code or anything more specific?

Also, double check for now....

Which device or OS are you using to download?

Do you have sufficient space left on the drive?

If the drive is formatted in FAT32 you can't write files larger than 4GB. Reformat the drive in NTFS.

Android 6 has known limitations of where you can download files to. It's doubtful you'll get it to download to a USB.

Try changing the target directory to the SD card, if it immediately starts downloading it'll be a clue ;).
