I'm new to flashing and I think I used the wrong image file for my x8-h.

-I flashed this on my device: https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-support/amlogic-based-tv-players/s802/minix/firmware-roms-tools-ab/682215-minix-xh8-finless- lollipop-rom-1-0
-I tried flashing this repeatedly, but it always got stuck at 97% with a verify partition error
-using a usb burning tool
-I tried flashing other roms onto my device but it always got stuck at a certain point
-I was going to try an SD card installation next but I think it couldn't boot, it wasn't sending a signal to my display
Is there a way to recover my x8-h?

Can you try the Finless stock ROM via SD, read the instructions carefully:

I tried this method but it doesn't give a signal to my tv after holding the recover pin for 4 minutes straight. I've tried re copying the files. I'm going to try to redownload the file and try it again

Q1 Is the reset button and recover button the same? I treat it as the same
Q2 In Option 3 it was mentioned that a button was at the button of an A/V jack hole, but my x8-h doesn't have an A\V port - it has:
-Recover Button, HDMI, Optical Audio, 2 USB Ports, LAN port, OTG port, SD card slot, another USB port, a headphone and mic port, the antenna thing, and the Power Button
Q3 How is Option 1 and Option 3 different? Both seem to release the pin at the minix logo

Q1 Yes they are the same, its the small hole that you would need a toothpick or paperclip to press in, you can hear it click.
Q2 A headphone jack and A/V port look the same, he means your headphone jack.
Q3 Option 3 is using the stock recovery to install the update where as Option 1 is using the recovery on the SD card.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the box is out putting a signal that is not compatible with your TV, do you have another TV or monitor with HDMI that you can try?

And lastly, are you absolutely certain your box is an X8-H?

So there is no button in the A/V port?

I can't seem to see or press anything in my headphone jack, it says that at the bottom of the AV jack hole is a reset button

-I'll try using my monitor instead of my tv
-it says NEO X8-H on a sticker on the bottom

The reset button is next to the HDMI port, maybe it is different on the X8 I cannot say as I do not own one, all you need is the reset button pushed in and held and then the power button pushed and held:
