Input Mic issue - Minix Neo A2 and Logitech C920 Webcam

Hi,

I need some help with a microphone collision issue between my NEO A2 microphone and the Logitech C920 webcam microphone.

Here is the description of the problem:
1. Trying to use Skype (or any other software requires the use of a microphone) - the NEO A2 is being used by default, i.e. I see the red light blinking on the mic symbol of the NEO A2 remote.
2. Trying to change the audio input is not helping - there are only 3 options there: Auto, Onboard mic and SAGE airmouse (which is probably the NEO A2)
3. Restarting the MINIX NEO U9-H box is helping, i.e. the webcam microphone is being used by default (i.e. no red blinking light on the NEO A2 remote).
4. At some point in time after some use of the MINIX U9-H device, the configuration goes back to the NEO A2 remote, therefore before another Skype call I have to restart again the box.

Questions:
1. Is there a way to disable the A2 microphone so that the MINIX box will not choose it ?
2. Is there a way to have both microphone inside Settings -> Audio -> Audio Devices -> Input devices so that I could choose one before going into Skype ?

The C920 webcam is connected to the first USB port (closest to the power button) and the A2 USB dongle is connected to the second USB Port. MINIX U9-H is updated with latest firmware (which was long time ago...)

Any ideas ? Any known issue like that ?

Thanks for the help.

Pretty much identical post here just a couple of weeks ago....

The OP never responded back with any information or news of what they had or hadn't tried, or if anything had helped!

Thanks for the link. I actually went through the forum and saw this issue of "OK Google" being active on the android box.

However I did not see an option to cancel it (Google app version, 11.7.11.21arm, i.e. the latest from Play Store) as given in some online tutorials (Settings - General/Personal tab -> Language and Input -> Google voice typing).

I turned off "Google Assistant" option though (Google > Account Services > Search, Assistant & Voice > Google Assistant -> Assistant tab -> Tablet).

Let us see how it evolves...
