Input Voltage

I have the minix n42, have it installed on my telescope mount, with all the software installed and it works great- NO issues.
The problems is, in the field away from power, I want it to run of a 12vdc battery. But the voltage can vary from 11-14 vdc.
Will this affect the minix n42 performance ?
I was thinking of installing a buck and a boost power supply to regulate to 12 vdc.
Any thoughts ?

The input voltage range N42C-4 supports is: 11-13.6V
So I think 11-14vdc is OK, as long as the LED light at the front panel does not glow red.
