Intermittent volume decrease

At first I thought I was just losing the audio signal between my denon avr receiver and u9 - h but then by accident I noticed the volume on my minix box was down to about 23% It seemed to occur in scenes where a lot of action (loudness) was taking place.
Apologies if this as already been discussed on here. I looked but couldn't find a thread on it.
Any ideas?

That's a new one!! Are you using any sound optimisers or dynamic range compression with your AVR?

What are you using to play your media too? Kodi, MX Player etc.?

I regularly find the volume turned down on my U9-h, not sure what app is doing it, i rectify it by going to settings > advanced settings > sound and notifications > and move the playback volume slider to 100%
Is there a way to have it fixed at 100%?

your problem sounds like ?a mixing issue with the centre speaker, I think there's a setting in kodi you need to play with
