Hi all!
I am new to the forums and just got my first Minix. It's the X8-H (non plus) version.
I've got all my equipment running behind closed cabinet doors and I use an IR extender to operate them. All my equipment works fine this way (amp, humax, cd, mede8er), but the Minix won't except the passed through IR signal for some reason.
The IR extender has a range of 30 to 60 Khz, which should cover both IR bands. It also has a led ton the main unit that lights when receiving a signal. When the Minix remote sends IR to the receiver the led on the main unit of the receiver lights up, so it receives the signal for sure.
I've also mapped the Minix to my Logitech Harmony. Directly to the device this works perfectly, but once again not working through the extender.
This should be a basic IR signal right? I do not see how this could cause any problems.
Has any of you have any experience with IR extenders?
