Is it possible to connect a Bluetooth headset on Z83-4U ?

Hi to every body,

I'm trying to connect a blue tooth headset on my Z83-4U for days. All I can hear is a sound vaguely resembling the music I want to hear but hardly hashed by noise to the point where it is not usable.
I used 2 different headsets : same result.
I switch from Linux Mint to Ubuntu : same result.
I just don't know what else I can do. Any idea would help me.

Thanks in advance
Michel

Yes it is possible to connect, as I am sure you have done, but, as I have just found out, the sound comes through distorted.

I can only confirm your findings and sorry to say I can not help further! :(

Yes @Villa i don't have this device and i also don't have Bluetooth headphones.

I have installed virtual machines and ubuntu 18.04 included.

I am beginner with linux.
But i tested some OS and the way they worked....

Do you have a Bluetooth speaker?

Me too and so far not loving it!:LOL:
I don't have a bluetooth speaker.
And yes i am like you, not loving it.
I prefer android and windows.

At least i know how some things works ☺

One of the reasons i use first a virtual machine (if i can of course) is:
If my tests are ok and i really really like the OS i will install in a physical machine, of course in a VM is not same but we can Have an idea ☺

The version is 19.10, latest available.
More details ? Bluetooth is active, the peripheral is connected, sound comes out of my headset but it is corrupted by permanent noise like a grrr.. :)-) at constant frequency.

Thank for your answer

Hum.
Are you sure the headset is working well? have you tested in windows for example? or in another device?

I've already confirmed the same issue!

Also I've searched for an answer and others have had issues with Bluetooth sound.

I have no other PC on Windows for testing. I tried 2 headsets with the same result, I doubted both were not working.
I know for looking on different forum that there is a lot of complaints on bluetooth on Linux and I'm convinced the problem is there but what I wanted to confirm is that Z83-4 bluetooth interface is working properly.
