Is it possible to Install Windows 10 32-bit

Hi All,

I have a brand new NEO Z83-4 Plus that came with Windows 10 64 Bit OS preinstalled. I need to put a clean install of Windows 10 32 Bit on it but can't get it installed at this point. I have created a bootable usb with 32 Bit Win10 using the media creation tool. When I try to boot to this usb using f11 option, it fails to boot to the usb and just boots back to the already pre installed version of Windows even when I disable all other boot options apart from the usb. I created a bootable usb with 64 Bit Win 10 using the media creation pool and it boots to this version successfully.

I am assuming the version in the link quoted in the first post in this forum from MINIX-JOHN is 64 Bit? (https://files.theminixforum.com/sha...ro(&Z83-4_Plus)-Win10_Pro_1903-20190925.zip)? Is there a similar link to a 32 Bit version of windows?

Has anyone successfully put a 32 bit version of windows 10 on a NEO Z83-84 Plus?

Why 32-bit?
 
Unfortunately not. The software provider has informed us that it will only run on a machine that has a 32 Bit OS

Apologies if I posted in the wrong place! I have tried emailing MiniX Support and contacting the Support telephone number (+852 3175 5678) with no joy. Can you help with any info on getting a 32 Bit Win10 OS installed or direct me to where I may be able to get some assistance on this item please?

Hi Conor, I replied to your customer support email on Saturday.
It is not possible to install the 32-bit version of Windows 10 Pro OS on MINIX NEO Z83-4 Plus.

Hi John,

Thanks for the clarification. I don't seem to have received an email reply but no worries. Do MINIX sell any Mini machines that support a 32 Bit Win OS or would you know of any other options?

Surely there must be a way to run it on a 64-bit system?!

Edit: Scratch that!

I just read that if software is written specifically for a 32-bit OS then it will not run on a 64-bit OS.

Not sure what happened to the email, perhaps it ended up in your spam/junk mail.
None of our Mini PCs support 32-bit Windows 10 OS.

Apparently there is no way to get it working. Hoping to be able to do some testing myself shortly and will update you if any success.

Hi John,

Checked the junk and no sign. Was just letting you know in case there is an issue with your website support email system. If you let me know what the sender address would have been I can check if it hit the Exchange server.
