It just keeps crashing

It looks like its the power supply, so now need to try and get a new one, where I purchased from are online and only cover first 7 days.

SUCCESS lol :)!!! Well, at least the hard part of troubleshooting the problem is done.

MINIX will sort you out with a new PSU.

Hope all runs well for you from here on out :).

I'm having the same problem as the OP, except that, I have not installed the extra memory. My installation, has the latest Windows update (1909), is there a more stable one for the Minix?

Thank you. Now, how do I make the PC boot into the 240Gb storage?
It booted into the 32Gb(?), internal storage that came with the Minix.
I advice you to:
-Disable eMMC on the bios (save and exit) and boot with SSD.
-After you boot from SSD you can :
use eMMC (enable again) , format eMMC for extra storage (i use extra storage) OR keep eMMC disable for backup.
Don't use eMMC and SSD with the OS installed at the same time.

Things have really gone downhill since.
Now the PC won't boot from the SSD, even after disabling eMMC.
I removed the SSD, re enabled the eMMC just so that I could use the original storage.

I then re inserted the SSD, disabled eMMC, and re started.

Along the way, when the PC re booted, I kept seeing the startup nsh screen, a countdown and then nothing else happened until I rebooted the PC and, every time it went thru the reboot routine, the nsh screen came back.

If I held the "delete" button, to enter BIOS, I would then go to the "BOOT" tab, to look for the SSD. It was there and I selected it, pressed F4 and afterwards, the nsh screen came back.

I opted for removing the SSD, entering the BIOS, re enabling eMMC, to boot back into the original storage. This is how I'm typing this (although I do have a MacBook Air to troubleshoot via the forum).

By the way, I am still in build 1903, after rolling it back from 1909.

Went back and re installed the SSD. After much loop jumping, I was able to find the "Windows Boot Manager" in the boot options, and selected that instead of the boot manager with the SSD option, which was there, to keep from going back to the dreaded nsh or EFI shell screens.

Is there a way for me to get back my data from the SSD and transfer that to the original storage?
Or, another way for the Minix to boot from the SSD?

When I enter the BIOS, Boot, I can see both Windows Boot Manager and the Windows Boot Manager for the Minix 240Gb SSD.
When I go into disk management, I can see the SSD there. Is there a way for me to switch to it?

FYI, mine ended up that I needed a replacement.
I'm beginning to think so.
I kept messing with it until I finally reformatted it, loosing everything I had there. Right now, considering rolling back from 1903 to 1809 and try to get the SSD to work again.

Curious, how did you get a replacement?
Was yours purchased thru Amazon along with the Minix Neo?
Did you purchased yours as a standalone upgrade?

Mine ended up being the main unit and was replaced directly by Minix even though I had purchased form a third party online.

Must admit, great service from them, probably explains why I now have multiple devices around the flat.
Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

I wish more people could see this and know we do fulfil warranties and replace units as swiftly and with the least inconvenience as possible in the rare cases that there is a hardware defective.
