jpg files

Ladies/Gents
I have all my laptop windows 10 files copied to my new WD My Book external drive. When I plug the drive into my Neo U9 H. I can view all my videos and movie torrents using VLC player but, cannot seem to view my jpg photos anywhere. Is there an app I can download to view them or an app on which I can view all files from Local Disk and My Book. When I click on File Browser I can see the contents of my Local Disk and My Book drive but, when I click on an item I just get a checkmark on the right- hand side but nothing happens. Any ideas?

Hi.
The best media player you can have is kodi , in the market for many years (first was called xbmc- for xbox only) and you can see all your database (videos, images, music, etc) and watch/play.

Search in your device , in all apps for Kodi .
In the beggining may be dificult to setup and navigate but once you mastered it is great.

Hi Notrui,
I have had kodi installed for years. It is now up to 18.3. It was the first app I tried. I can see the movies and hear the mp3s on it but when I go to pictures I can see My Book, but when I click on My Pictures in My Book I get a blank screen. I also have SPMC and tried it with the same results. I installed FX Files but I can see My Book but I get the same problem. In other words, I can hear MP3s and see movies on kodi and VLC but no response with pictures anywhere. The files are jpgs could that be the problem. Thanks for your help.

Hi Again,
Having failed in everything I tried to view my photos from the WD, My Book to the Minix U9, I tried plugging My Book into my U1 box in my bedroom and everything works perfectly with kodi 18.3 same as the version in the U9 box. Can anyone tell me what I can do to get the My Box working on both Minix boxes. I don't have enough knowledge of Androids to understand why this is happening. I would appreciate any answer that would remedy this as it has been very frustrating. Thanks again.

Hello.
Reading , understand and test is the best what you can do in the beginning.

Go to google and type:
Kodi setup 2019 for beginners

Will appear many web sites that you can read and will help you.

You also can Use youtube and search the same thing.
The more information you have and more knownledge is more easy to setup and understand what to do.
