Just a thought..

I would like to bring to the attention of owners of the new Max version of the U22-XJ the possibility of accidentally plugging in the Max power supply that is 12V 2A power adapter that has the same connection plug of the previous range of Minix Android they might own, the power requirements of the previous Minix Android range is 5V 3A, (2A), so there is a potential for disaster when lets say moving them from one room to another or simply during cleaning around the cables that causes you to unplug the devices you may have.
It might have been a good idea to have used a different adapter size or introduced a bright colour identifier to the new model, this is something I have felt necessary to do as I seem to be often swapping them around, so I would just like to say please give it a thought when having to unplug your devices.

Hi.
Yes it is a good idea.

One thing that i always do:
-label the power adapter
Example: If the PSU is for U22-XJ max i write :
U22-XJ max.

That and the remote control dongle: ?
Example: dongle for A3 remote control

I have been labeling my power adapters for years. I take a piece of white gaffers tape and write the device it fits in black felt pen. Saves a LOT of grief.

I did notice that the U22-XJ and the Max have different power specs, and that the power supplies look virtually identical. This was NOT a good design idea, especially using the same connector on both.

All the dongles are another issue, especially for me as I use wireless mice only. Those dongles don't give much room for labeling.

The thing is most normal people would buy the device one time, plug it in and use it! ;):giggle:
