Keep WiFi Off During Sleep

Has anyone had any success to keep the WiFi off during sleep mode on the U1 ?
I tried the setting: WiFi > Advance > Keep WiFi On During Sleep > Never, but the WiFi still stays on.
Is this an Android 5.0 Lollipop bug ?

That is funny. One U1 I have is set to Always and still I have to wait for it to reconnect the wifi after getting asleep for a while. Does your box get into the yellow LED once you put it to sleep mode?

Yes I get the green LED once in sleep mode, but I still see it connected on my router. I guess I will use my trusty old "Screen Off, Internet Off" app like on my X8-H which does not have this option in Android 4.4.2.

What do you have as 'Network notification' and 'Scanning always available' in the Advanced Wifi area? Mine are both turned off. I don't get the U1 showing in the router while it sleeps, as I confirmed. Apart from always seeing it connecting when it wakes up I had never checked before in the router map. ;)

(I know it is kind of green and not yellow, but technically the green LED is something you don't wish to get in your Minix, at least if the color code of the Z83-4 would apply to the U1... but maybe that one green does not apply to the U1 and this is just good old me being supertitious about using the color name in this context.

Blue - On
Green - Sleep
Red - Over-Voltage

Yellow (If possible?) - Probably FUBAR :ROFLMAO:

I will try to turn off "Network notification" and "Scanning always available" and report back.

Okay turning off the "Network notification" seems to have done the trick and now I don't see the WiFi connected to my router. "Scanning always available" is off by default.
