I upgraded to Kodi 18 on my U9-H (via the Play Store) a few days after it was released. It still has a few minor bugs but it's very stable. It has since upgraded to 18.1 & it receives updates with bugfixes from the Play Store like any other app as well. 18.1 seems just a touch slower than 17.6 to me, nothing serious, however.

Some skins/add-ons that work with 17.6 won't work with 18. On the flip side, there's some new skins/add-ons that work with 18 that won't work with 17.6 too.

It's not crashing every 5 minutes if that's your main concern, in fact it's only stopped responding/crashed once since I updated. I wasn't able to recreate that event either, it was entirely random.

I'm happy with it so far .

I use it every day.
I presume there's still some bugs but i didn't had any issue so far.
