Anyone know why I can't get resolutions other than 1920x1080p @60Hz to show in the Whitelist ?
I have a 4K HDR TV, the TV input is set to HDMI 2.0 and my U1 Display setting is set at 4k2k @60hz
I also have a X8-H with Display setting at 4k2k @30hz on Kodi 17.1 fork.
Both Whitelist has only one option 1920x1080p @60Hz.

Hello. Kodi is always in evolution....
Try other kodi versions and test.
At this moment You have kodi 18.5 and 19 nightly builds.

I think the resolutions in the Whitelist is irrelevant to the Kodi player as long as you set the Android OS in the Minix box is set to 4k2k @60hz. The Whitelist resolutions only affect the GUI in Kodi and not the actual player itself so the 1920x1080 @60hz is the maximum resolution for Kodi GUI. When I play 4K content in the Kodi player it shows it is playing 4K content when you press O on your keyboard.

Yes.
The resolutions in the GUI are irrelevant to the kodi player.
It is a "appareance problem".

If you have both tv and minix 4k for example and you try to play a 4k file kodi player shows in 4k (you can see that pressing o key) and you notice the difference.

The same is true when you play in kodi old SD files.

It seems kodi no longer renders at 4K for a weak CPU since v15, as per KODI website. It is getting blurry. Same with Amazon Prime Video, I no longer use android app, instead of smart TV built-in apps.
