Kodi for the U1

#1
Hi

I installed the kodi 18.7 from the play store and it looks very bad - very low resolution.
Its like it installed an android phone version and and the resoution doesnt scale up to the size of the TV.
How can i install an updated kodi version that will look good on big screen tv? Like the official kodi for minix does?

Thanks!

Its difficult to understand what you have done but something is not right.

You can be assured that Kodi 18.7 on the U1 is fine

What resolution is showing in Kodi settings? As @pusb87 says something is amiss, fine for me on my U1:

Kodi GUI on android devices is limited to 1080p
Kodi GUI on windows devices gives you the maximum resolution of your TV (example 4K)

I am not sure that is the issue, I'm guessing by his post that the GUI is not filling the screen, this should not be the case, but I may have misinterpreted the post entirely
