Last firmware X8 Plus

Hello,

I'am searching for the last working firmware for the minix X8 plus. Can anyone tell me what it is?
Lot of apps from the google playstore don't work with my current firmware.

Please help
 
I know this sounds obvious but why not reset the box and it will download the latest firmware automatically. But then again I am not sure if it downloads 5.01 or 4.2 ?

Reset the box will put the box with factory settings (if you have kit kat you will continue with the same firmware).
If you need lollipop you need a manually upgrade.
 
The only update to android 5.1 is Finless 1.1 ROM for the Minix X8H-PLUS. If you have anything else you are stuck at android 4.
