Mmm, with the windows firmware I had to add a 32 bit UEFI boot on linuxliveusb.
This is not the problem: with both bios android or window, with every Linux distro my PC Simply does not shut down, if I install android or windows it works! Why?
hello to you I had already written it.
If you want to start with a 64-bit USB stick, install the Grub2Win Multibootloader on the stick, GPT format in Windows 32-bit.
With this you can start all other systems in 64 bit mode, this starts both 32/64 bit.
Firstly, the BIOS is written in 32-bit, the reason is that there is not enough RAM for Windows 64-bit.
The other distros almost all work in 64 bit mode.
However, I recommend adjusting the outsourcing in Windows right away. Linux swap partition.
I still remember that when you shut down it starts in Grub2Win, so I have a version with me there is a power button in the menu, if you set this as 1st in the Gub2Win start menu, it would have to do a reboot in the Grub 2 Win, but then shut it down.
Do you know the problem is that for some time now there have been almost no 32-bit systems available, only 64-bit. Could it be related to the fact that it is a 32-bit bios and therefore there is perhaps no driver to switch it off in the OS?
It might work if you lower the Grub2Win show time in the Grub2Win configuration and set the power switch as the first entry. Just think you shouldn't measure that too short because firstly you don't have enough time to choose or you won't get the bootloader booted anymore.
Could possibly work.
If this power switch is no longer in the menu, could it be configured and created via the g2w config.txt?
Actually, it should be possible to take over the power config from an older Linux distro and insert it into the new one???
