Location Problem With VPN

I am from Singapore.

Having installed VPN and disabled the location, iPlayer is still detecting that I am connected from overseas despite UK VPN server has provided a virtual IP for the connection.

Please help resolve the problem.

Easy answer! Use a Smart DNS service instead.

or you should be seeking advice from your VPN provider...this is not an issue related to your (or any) device

Many streaming services are known to "block" IP addresses known to be coming via a VPN provider
