Hello,

I have a problem with upgrade some Neo X8h-plus boxes to lollypop.
I did try, read and see all the movies @ YouTube and i have already did some X8h-plus updates to Lollypop with the USB burning tool and the OTG port and with succes.
But i have also some X8h-plus boxes that only starts up with the "Android system recovery" screen. (they do not connect with the OTG).
In the "Android system recovery" i have try the install with the SD card but i get the error -> E:footer is wrong and E:signature verification failed.

Somebody nows what kind of problem this is? What do i wrong..

You cannot use the recovery to flash unfortunately as it is an .img file. Have you tried Burn Card Maker?

Yes i tried also the Burn Card Maker and following the instuction on the video.
When i reset (power and reset button) the X8H-plus it always goes only to the "android recovery screen". Sadly that with the Burn Card Maker didn't work.

And also i did try to update with the SDcard and i now that it must be a ZIP file but i don't no whats in it.
I zip the X8H_PLUS_LOLLIPOP_RC2.ISO file but that didn't work.

Do you now what's in the ZIP file for apply update in the "android recovery screen"?

Many members have reported different results with this on the X8-H Plus, some keep holding the reset and power until the upgrade screen appears, others hold the reset and power but only keep holding reset and release the power when the bootloader appears, for me I always held the reset and power. Try the different variations and see if you have luck with one of them.

Unfortunately this will not work, you need an upgrade zip but that was never released for Lollipop on the X8-H Plus.

Lastly, when I had problems with connecting via USB burning tool I would flash the following stock firmware (Kitkat 4.4) and after that the box would connect to the USB burning tool, don't ask me why as I have no clue:
