Greetings, have some problems with 2 SDcard 1 is it doesn’t format it says that it was successful but contents are still there the other one I’d right protected I have tried to unlock with the sdcard adapter with the latch still write protected I have put the both them in my smartphone and I have this software called SDCARD pro it especially checks for bad sdcards when I do a test gives me error zero bytes on the card so u think that the both of them are garbage and just go buy new ones ?

Sounds like they have become write only.

It is a protection feature!

This refers to USB flash drives but it is the same for SD cards...

It pisses me off because I have some cards and USB flash drives that have had very little use and they have become useless.
In my experience it has mostly been cards used with Android.

Some of the card manufacturers offer a long warranty (5 years or more) but I've never been arsed to go through the return procedure and then there's the issue of possibly having sensitive data on the card as they want you to return it. I have read that some people say you can return it physically smashed up!

Try this (to remove ready only and have acess to read/write)
