Micro SD doesn't work

Good evening.
Following an update in december, the Minix Z83-4 can no longer see my 64gb Samsung microSD. This problem is present only with a 64GB and 16GB memory, while the 8GB one works. This problem is present only on this device, while on my laptop they all work.
I have tried various solutions written on the forum, for example formatting the microSD in NTFS and updating the drivers, but it tells me that the latest drivers are already installed. The error code in "Device Manager" is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".
The most recent files in the folder sdbus.inf are dated 7/12/2019 and I can't change them with those that are here on the forum.
Without microSD the MINIX is unusable, there is too little space.
I am truly disappointed with this problem and the difficulty I have in solving it.
Thanks to those who will be able to help me and easily solve the problem

It doesn't make the device entirely unusable as USB storage is also available for the additional space too if you temporarily need to move some files around. However, as with others who have experienced this particular issue in the past I'm sure your frustration is understandable.

Which version of Win 10 are you currently using? (I.e. 1803, 1809, 1903?)

Your post indicates that you may have recently allowed your device to update via the Win Update system. However, for the sake of clarity can you please confirm if you're still running a stock official MINIX Win 10 image or if you have allowed your device to update to a later version via Win update? (In some cases updating via Win Update is not a good idea as it can cause various problems & it's better to remain with the official MINIX image if at all possible, case in point.)

Have you updated the BIOS for your Z83-4? (Details here....) https://theminixforum.com/index.php?threads/instructions-for-updating-bios.153/

It's not an outright solution & more of a workaround given the additional limitations it may possibly cause, but have you also considered or tried this if it will provide you with the additional space you require for the device to at least become "usable"?.... https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/how-to-fix-mirco-sd-card-issue/

Can you provide links to which (MINIX) forum threads you've followed so far to try & resolve your current issue please? (Someone may be able to remember a post with some additional information or insight that you haven't yet read through as well, for example.) I can't remember which specific thread it was actually posted under now myself, but I can remember other posts discussing the method required to manually remove the existing driver file(s) to then manually replace it/them.

Otherwise, Win 10 does still continue to have issues with certain brands, or with specific classes of micro SD cards from certain brands. (As you've discovered, one of your cards will still work whilst some others won't.) This would generally indicate that it's not a hardware issue (or even a driver issue), or your card reader wouldn't detect any card you tried to use period. Unfortunately, it's more of a compatability issue with some cards functioning perfectly normally whilst others have issues being correctly detected by the system.)

Do you need a micro SD card of a specific class or size, for example? (Again, if you provide some additional information regarding your subjective requirements, others may be able to provide you with the details of some specific brands, classes or sizes of cards that they've used successfully with their Z83-4's without ever experiencing this particular problem.)

Feel free to add any additional information (i.e. what you have or haven't tried so far) that may be useful for others to help you :).

There is no fix for the Z83-4 not recognizing SD cards. If you get a Z83-4 warranty replacement as a solution, then eventually the replacement Z83-4 will also fail to recognize SD cards as well. If you buy a new micro SD card it may be recognized for a while but will eventually fail to be recognized too in a matter of days to weeks. `

I have disabled Windows updates over a metered internet connection on my warranty replacement Z83-4 and am still using Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.2007). My Z83-4 hasn't recognized any SD cards years now. I wasted many hours trying to find the root cause of this problem using software. Finding the cause of the problem requires a hardware SD protocol analyzer - one like the Frontline® SD Protocol Analyzer. This is the kind of equipment that you might expect a PC manufacturer to invest in to debug problems like this.

Hello,
The same problem as Carrillo. I suggest two possible solutions:
1. That they publish a new version of windows that fixes the problem definitively.
2. If this is not possible try with a linux. See this link

My last attempt has been to install version 1903
