MINIX NEO G41V-4 Mounting Issue

I have recently received a MINIX NEO G41V-4 PC with a VESA Mount and have been having trouble mounting the PC to the VESA Mount.
We have installed the included studs onto the bottom of the PC, but when we slide the studs into the VESA Mount holes, the MINIX seems raised up a bit, and kind of hangs on at an angle.
We are wondering if this design is intentional, or perhaps we have the wrong size studs?
Gravity seems to hold it in place when mounted vertically however we wish to mount it horizontally.
The stud length is 10.40mm overall.

I would say intentional, as mine is the same!

If the device was a snug fit it might be difficult to mount. Having said that, the device is only in contact with the lower rubber/sponge pad, the others don't serve a purpose.

I suggest you try fitting some thin rubber/sponge/neoprene/card to each pad to fill in the gap.

OK so tried it out to >> pretty poor design by all accounts I reckon, why would Minix change it from the clip in type of the J50C which allows you to have the PC in any orientation you like

especially as the G41 fits perfectly in the J50C vesa mount

@MCAD_RMA > perhaps you can ask Minix to supply you with the J50C VESA mount
