Could someone confirm if the J50C-4 PLUS model has a built-in emmc board. Because in my J50C-4 PLUS no emmc is detected by the bios and my linux OS does not detect either.
Thank you very much!

J50C-4 has built-in 64GB eMMC memory with the option to add an M.2 SATA SSD upto 512GB.
J50C-4 Plus does not have built-in 64GB eMMC memory but has a 240GB M.2 SATA SSD already installed.

Thanks sir! So, which model you suggest? In Italy i only find J50C-4.
Many thanks
Luciano

Could I add 64Gb emmc to NEO j50c-4 plus in order to increase the available memory of j50c-4 plus?

If yes , are there any steps to perform after getting the 64GB?

You can replace default 240GB SSD with a larger one.
You can increase RAM.
Read all the information above (links, etc).

The Plus does not have the eMMC.

You can replace the 240GB SSD with a larger capacity SSD or use a USB device.

Why it is possible to add ssd to J50C-4 that has EMMC with a memory size of 64Gb , while it is not possible to do the reverse process of adding EMMC with 64Gb to J50C-4 plus?

The J50C-4 has an eMMC chip soldered to the PCB. The Plus does not.

This means the Plus has slightly cheaper production costs even though it is supplied with a 240GB SSD.

@notrui edits his post after reading mine! :p;)

Sorry to go a little OT here, but it's a valid point in this instance & that's specifically why I always quote his original posts or this continual back editing can often end up causing additional confusion for all concerned. (Some forums I've used have even removed members for habitually doing this as well citing their "forum etiquette" rules ;).)

Can't say I agree with the practice (if it's habitual) personally, but that's just me ;)!! (Just add another fresh post for the additional clarification if it's required rather than repeatedly back editing for the sake of it in this manner. If one must back edit an original post, then simply use the strike through feature for the original text instead & then add any new or additional information below that. That way, other members reading through posts in a given thread understand exactly what's been changed & why if a back edit has occurred! Simples :).)
