MINIX NEO U1 - Black screen first time set up

Hi all,

just purchased a MINIX NEO U1 straight out of the box, power cable and HDMI in, power on, blue LED light on and all I am getting is a black screen. Have tried changing the HDMI cable, powered on and off and all the usual stuff but nothing works.

Could the box be a complete dud ? Any help would be much appreciated.

@danb88 did you try all hdmi ports in Tv?
