If you simply take 15 seconds to navigate to the Play Store, is the Google Home app available to you for installation there :)? (I'm not being flippant either, I'm simply asking a question of fact :).)

Is it definitely the Home app (casting etc.) you need, or rather the Assistant app, (voice assistance etc.)? (The same still applies, navigate to the Play Store & just search for either Google Home or Google Assistant :).)

It would literally be the quickest & simplest way for you to see for yourself rather than waiting indefinitely for answers to confirm this here.

If it's available ,just go ahead & install it or them :). (I don't have a U1 BTW.) Otherwise, when you see it in the Play Store if there's any possible limitations etc., the Play Store may state that "this app is not optimised for your device" which typically means it'll run but not all features may necessarily work in full or be fully supported by the device itself.
