Minix Neo U22-XJ Max does not start up

I bought a Minix Neo U22-XJ Max and thought it wil work very well. But the Minix does nothing at all. When i turn on the power button only the light on the front becomes immediately green which meens so far i know it's the sleeping mode. Ik cannot get into the box and i am desperate. I tried a reset with the paperclip but that is not the solution. Can someone give me some advice. Excuse me for my English. Im from the Netherlands so it is not very good. Thank you for your tips and trics.

Try unplug the power lead and then reconnect and use the power button on the box to turn it on and it the power light should turn blue. And then go into :
Settings > CEC on TV and minix abd ensure they are enabled.

I did that already several times. When i turn on the power there is no activity at all on my tv screen so i cannot get into the settings.
 
It sounds like the power supply (PSU) is faulty, you could try another PSU that puts out 12V - 2A if you wanted but I would highly recommend returning the unit under warranty.

I bought new in the box on a market site so i connotatie return it. The psu is 5v - 2000 mah. Personally i also think that could be a/the solution. I will try it next week and let know if it works.
 
This one should work. Or something similar from Amazon

One more thought!
If we're getting confused over the voltage, is this actually the Max version?
 
The OP put max in his title.

But he bought it from a " market". Was it in the original box and if so was the item inside, actually a max and not just a U22. If so, the psu he has will not work.

Easy to check the bottom of the device, which should tell him.

That is my thought exactly!
A 12V PSU plugged in to a 5V device could damage the device. Luckily the devices have over-voltage protection!
 
Excuse for the late answers! Psu is 12V 2A en we checked it. Psu is allright. The Minix was in the original box and cables etc were sealed. It is really the Max version as shown on the button. Also tried different wall sockets. My own thought maybe software is corrupted. Don't know if it is possible to load new software with pc.
