I am having issues with Nova Launcher and adding widgets or icons.

I am able to use the workaround of selecting widget from the recent apps list. However, some widget options are not offered in that list.

I'm still not able to select "Add widget" from the desktop and long press and drag the widget. It doesn't allow to be dragged at all.

In addition, I'm not able to drag an icon from the app drawer to the desktop. Though the recent apps workaround does work.

The Elixer 2 widgets are a separate APK, now. This allows the widgets to stay on the internal storage and move the main app to adopted external storage. Any widget that you want to use must be placed in the internal storage.

So do you mean that I can never use an app like Elixer 2, with the U22-XJ, or just not right now before they resolve this bug?

Elixer 2 widgets work on the Minix Neo U22-XJ. Be sure to download the widget app.

Hi Fernando86, thanks for your input.

I actually had the base app and widget app already installed. I'm just still not clear how I'm able to select different size widgets if I can't pick directly from the home screen.

The recent apps trick doesn't seem to work for me in this case.
