make sure you read this thread and follow guide carefully >> https://theminixforum.com/index.php...-for-neo-u9-h-with-the-burning-tool.29/page-2

you could try burn card method > https://theminixforum.com/index.php...re-update-with-burn-card-maker.234/#post-1149

apply the same principle with the U9 method of powering on / recovery menu

You need to add your USB drives as a source in Kodi for them to show up in "Videos", or to add their content to your library.

Also do u have links for downloading Dolby atmos ?
I have Amaze - shows truehd on my avr .. I wanted to test a file having ATMOS audio ...

usb device is not at all shown there wen I go to add videos.

Are the USB drives definitely being detected by Android first? Can you view their contents via a file explorer app?

Are the drives being detected by Kodi's actual file manager?

Failing that, how are the drives actually formatted? ( I.e. NTFS, exFAT etc.)

Are the drives connected directly to the U9-H or via a USB hub? (If you're using a hub is it active or passive?)

Yes , 100% i can view them on file explorer , only Kodi is not detecting usb drives...
it is formatted in NTFS, Directly to usb of U9-H .
Im also looking to purchase a USB hub , which is best ? active or passive >?

With Kodi running, try simply disconnecting & reconnecting the HDD again & see if that then triggers a successful connection. Any change?

Otherwise, you're definitely going -> videos ---> files ---> add files, yes?

Or, via Kodi's file manager, use "add source", is your drive listed as a source there or not?

If it's still not being detected, suggest error checking the drive. If it's an unpowered portable type HDD, it may be insufficient power from the USB ports. (Try swapping the HDD to another USB port on the U9-H & for the purposes of troubleshooting the problem disconnect any other USB HDD's or flash drives. (You can leave an A2 Lite/A3 connected if applicable.)

Any changes or still the same?

Yeah , thanks so much @ArcticWolf , @pusb87
Now i added external source manually by system root /storage ..

But i experienced KODI plays all formats , but suddenly sometimes it stops sound and play just video . if i go back to home screen of android and den if i re open Kodi it plays audio .. but this is happening several times ... Can you provide a sample of the file or files you're having problems with in Kodi for testing?

Is it still just a clean Kodi install or have you installed a build or certain add-ons?
