Minix Neo X8-H - Flash ram upgrade?

Hi,

i had a issue with my box and a gentleman said he did a flash ram upgrade on my Neo X8-H.

CPUz doesnt show any difference since i got the box back, is CPUz not able to show this?
The packaging says i originally had 16gb eMMC.
 
The issue was the Disney+ App would crash and he said a ram upgrade would fix the problem but it hasn’t. Just wondering if its even possible to upgrade the flash ram.

You have misunderstood!

It is not possible to upgrade the RAM or the eMMC.

What your gentleman will have done is upgrade/update the OS (Operating System), Android Version, with a newer or better Firmware Version.
It would be nice to know what exactly?

What firmware version is currently installed on your NEO X8-H?

First he installed Android v5.1.1 but after the Disney App was still crashing.

Then he told me he ran a emulation which was successful with 8gb so i should upgrade the flash memory in my Minix Box for which I paid.

Now its still crashing and i wonder how much for flash ram was installed?

There is no Android 5.1.1 OS firmware for NEO X8-H.
The Android 5.1.1 OS firmware is only for NEO X8-H Plus.
Please confirm which of these model you have.
The internal storage on both of these models is fixed, you cannot increase the eMMC storage.

Its the Neo X8-H for sure and its been flashed with a finless rom to 5.1.1.

Its is running okay, just the Disney Plus App i wanted for my kids keeps crashing.

I got my money back for the ram upgrade after i opened my box, took a picture and asked him where the ram was.

OK, we cannot assist with problems related to this custom ROM.
