minix neo xj-22 not playing videos in browser but plays you tube videos ok

Hi, don't know if you can help but my new minix neo xj-22 does not play veideos in web browser as comes up with error about videos not being properly encoded but plays all videos in you tube ok. Have also NEO U9-H and that videos from web browser ok. Have gone through all settings as suspect it's to do with that but cannot find what. Also tried clearing cached data and rebooting but that did not work euther so at a bit of a loss now. Am new to this forum so apologies ifI seem a bit green.

What browser(s) are you using?

One thing you might want to try is to use the desktop user agent in the browser.
