Hello.
No problem my friend, I understood what was more important in post #17. I had to add ".en" to the subtitle before ".srt" nothing else, it was very logical for me.
For me I added ".ro" to the subtitles and it really worked on a single movie.
At that time I tested a lot in Kodi, settings, add-ons .... maybe it was too much. I uninstalled / installed the application and then it worked without adding ".ro" before ".srt". All the movies went very well!
My problem was that in DS Video I could not see certain movies (with certain codecs) and those that had the subtitle included in the movie and in the file did not load the subtitle from the directory. So I discover that the application has its own player, if you do not want to use another and is OK for play many type of movies. When has problem ask for another player.
I think it was a problem of interpreting / reading / sending movie + subtitle in MX Player. I managed to find a good codec and I changed some settings in the NAS and now it's better.
I generally use DS Video and when I have problems, I use Kodi.
I discovered Kodi but it's a bit complicated for me, until you set it up but it's worth the effort!
I need some advice (from someone who use a NAS connected to the MINIX T5) how to better arrange movies / series / tv shows on the NAS, files / directories so I can access them more easily in Kodi.
So thank you for your clarification and for your help @ArcticWolf . I want to believe that many of us think when they read something and understand when it is unintentionally wrong!
