Minix u1 and u9 ethernet

Hello

neither my minix u1 or u9 Recognizes ethernet when plugged in. Using cat 7 from router to Ethernet switch to device.
i ve restarted router and minix boxes WiFi works fine

I have in the past had the sort of problem you are sharing, in all cases the faked Wi-Fi had been on .. in the majority of cases switch the internet connections selections on and off and reboot and the port became available .. not very scientific for sure but what ever was going on it mostly solved the issue ..when it didn't I flashed the firmware and that resolved the problem. Just a thought it is a standard patch cable you are using?
