Is there a PDF I can download that goes onto all the settings and what they do. Some settings I have no Idea what they are for.

Which settings in particular do you need help with explaining bud ;)???

In the meantime, don't just start arbitrarily clicking on settings just to see what they do if you're not sure lol :)!!

Let us know which settings you're uncertain about. Someone will undoubtedly get you on the right track & clear up some of the mysteries for you :).
 
Actually, I'd like to have a better understanding of what some of the setting do? It would be nice if someone on the board would write a list of setting and explanations for us Apple people?
 
The top bar, what are all those button up there part the WiFi/Internet and Airplane Mode?

Took me a while to find the notifications cause was used to Apple. Run mouse to the top, click the bar. Is where I found the real Update, cause the Update in the system & the app do nothing. In fact, the Update app crashes.
 
Thanks for fixing the strange icons in the latest update. The half-hidden thin notification bar poofed, no extra icons nor Airplane Mode seen after applying the new updates. Now see a WiFi symbol, Network cable, and Bluetooth only. And these are much larger and easier to view - right in plain sight.

Now to figure out how to connect 2 computers to the Minix box to allow sharing of external media. And thinking I might need more than 3 USB ports, since one is for Air Mouse, another for a Logitech keyboard/mouse, and have a USB drive and External SSD coming in to give some expansion until I can acquire larger capacity drives and such.

Do you recommend a USB 3.0 Extension Module perchance? Am guessing the expander would need to be powered by its own power supply cause the Minix cannot foot everything. Tried a cheap USB 2.0 Port extended thinking the Logitech & Air controller would work off that and only share one port. Didn't work. And was going to add a small fan cooler underneath to help keep the Minix box cooler.

Getting ahead of myself. Need to find a way of getting the computers hooked together first.
