Minix Z83-4 PRO - Linux Mint (20) = sound OK on HDMI but no sound on headphone jack

Hi all,

Installed latest Linux Mint 20 on my Z83-4 PRO.
I fixed the usual Wi-Fi card issue and all is well, except I have no sound out of my headphone jack.
I am not new to Linux, but not an expert.
I have checked all the usual settings in Pulse Audio and pavucontrol but to no avail.
The "onboard" audio device is shown there (under "Hardware") as just "Built-in Audio".

/proc/asound/cards tells me device "0" is the HDMI Audio (that works fine) and device "1" is listed as "chtrt5645" but that is not working.

lspci lists lots of hardware, but no reference to any sound card.

I have spent the best part of a whole day researching this, but to no avail.

Can anyone help me get sound out of my headphone socket please?

Here you go Nick -> https://linuxmint.com/download.php

Re my sound problem, in the end I just wiped my MINIX and started again, with the version I just linked to, and it worked fine "out of the box"
Linux does *not* pick up the Wi-Fi card in these boxes, so for doing the first install off the USB stick, you *need* to plug it into your router via an ethernet cable.
Once the install is finished, re-boot and then do the (simple) following, half way down this page -> https://theminixforum.com/index.php?threads/linuxmint-19-and-do-not-detect-wifi-network-card.376/
It only takes seconds to do.
Then re-boot and you will have Wi-Fi (don't forget, the first thing to do is the updates).

Nick, Mint 20 works the sound "out of the box" just fine (also Ubuntu v 20)

When you say "our 18.04 has added the audio driver" what is this OS you are referring to please? (I am guessing it is Ubuntu, but what is the "our" reference please)
