Mobile Apps not working on LAN

Hi there. I recently installed Hotstar app in my Minix. When open the app it says no internet connection. (I'm on LAN n using VPN too). So I used WiFi connection n the app working normally. Is there any workaround to use the app with LAN connection because my wifi strength is not good

Switch On Faked wifi status

Make sure WiFi is Off and Ethernet is On.

Have you tried without VPN?

same as @Villa suggested
and/.or guess you are using a vpn to overcome geo-restriction
so as you say it works with normal wifi ensure your vpn credentials/configuration over ethernet are the same as used on wifi and that access through your LAN is enabled
